We will aim to make your experience of attending The Practice as safe as possible and to achieve this we have instituted a number of measures  to mitigate the chances of infection.

All staff have undergone training in identifying risk and in infection control within the clinic environment.

Following an appointment enquiry our receptionist will answer any questions you may have.

If you request an online/telephone consultation the appointment can be made immediately.

In most cases during lockdown online consultations have proven extremely effective and we have been able to offer advice and bespoke rehabilitation/exercise programmes.

These online consultations will still be available especially for those people who may feel that a face to face consultation is not appropriate at this time.

If you feel you need a face to face consultation one of our physiotherapist will call you back to discuss your particular case.

During this consultation we will assess your need for a face to face appointment . If  this is deemed appropriate, we will go through a Corona Virus screening questionnaire to ensure that it is safe for you to attend in person. Face to face consultations will  be based on clinical need. You will need to complete this form to be able to have a face to face appointment. We will not be able to see you if this form is not completed.

If you prefer the Corona Virus screening and consent form can be completed and submitted below.

The Clinic Experience

We will have a one in one out policy and to achieve this, appointment times will be staggered.

Please do wear appropriate clothing as changing facilities will not be available.

We ask that you arrive on time for your appointment as there will be a limited reception area.

Please arrive where possible in appropriate clothing for the session . We will not have toilet facilities available to you on site (unless there is an urgent need). We also ask that you bring your own water as we will decommission our water coolers in reception for now.

Appointments will not be able to run over as we will require time between appointments to air and deep clean the clinic room in preparation for the next patient.

Hand gels will be available in reception to be used prior to and following your appointment.

In line with Government policy we will ask you to wear a face mask. You may bring your own or we will provide you with these at a nominal cost.

Your clinician will wear medical grade PPE.

The clinic rooms may look a little different as any items considered an infection risk will be removed. All surfaces identified as a possible infection risk will be cleaned thoroughly between each appointment.

Our reception area will  operate with a strict social distancing policy. There will be a screen to ensure minimal contact between patients and  reception staff. We will only offer contactless payments at reception but are quite happy to take payment over the phone prior to your appointment.
