Joanne Pitman joined The Practice on 6th May 2014.

Joanne qualified as a physiotherapist in 1999 after completing an MSc in Rehabilitation Sciences. Joanne is an empathetic and enthusiastic physiotherapist with a wide range of experience across multiple clinical settings. These include NHS hospitals, G.P and community clinics, and private sports injury clinics (including two winter seasons at the British Ski clinic in Courchevel). Joanne has also worked in an Accident and Emergency department as a specialist triage therapist for complex spinal conditions and acute peripheral injuries. She has experience helping out at Esher rugby club, Circus Space and a West end dance school.

Joanne’s post graduate training has included qualifications in acupuncture, pilates and completion of her certificate in manual therapy for the spine, lower limb and upper limb. She has wide experience in both manual therapy and rehabilitation.

Joanne believes in a holistic, functional and patient focused approach to physiotherapy, and works closely with her patients and other specialists to achieve their goals and optimum outcomes.

Joanne specialises in sports injuries, complex spinal injuries and lower limb disorders. She is a keen tennis player, climber and skier/snowboarder.
